Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

People’s generosity is amazing and supports us in our continued work feeding more people. Our shopping list on the right shows the items that we accept (basically non perishable food and household items). Please don’t donate out-of-date or damaged items (or any items containing alcohol).

Please keep an eye on our Facebook Group page for items we are most in need of at the moment.

Drop off donations

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our main in-store food collection point locations.

You may also be able to donate via collection points when visiting local churches, schools and community centres.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
