Foodbank Network feeds record numbers

In the last financial year (2011 - 12) the Trussell Trust Foodbank Network fed 128,697 people nationwide. This more than doubles the numbers fed in the previous year. Estimates suggest for 2012 that over 200,000 will be fed.

Care professionals, welfare agencies and charities identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher.

UK foodbanks

The Trussell Trust foodbank network works in partnership with local churches and organisations to bring foodbanks to communities across the UK. There are now over 275 foodbanks in the network. Find out about our national network here.
